Recipe for Love Under the Tuscan Sun

It's Official!

On July 21, 2009, I traveled to Tuscany and took a cooking class. Wow. What a beginning.

Ten wonderful years have passed, and Giuseppe's and my adventures have taken us far and wide. Our mutual passion for wandering, exploring and fine food has fuelled many lasting memories, and deepened our relationship over a handful of continents.

As the years unfolded, our love grew to include our daughter Lupita from Mexico. As luck would have it, she was with us this weekend at Castello Banfi in Chianti.

And so, it seems inevitable that on our tenth anniversary ..... watching the sun set over the olive groves and vineyards, in an impossibly romantic venue, that Giuseppe would ask me to marry him.

The answer, of course, was "si".

And so begins the next chapter of our love affair.
